A Word of Art – Review

I first came across A Word of Art through a review on Family Fever and I fell in love!

A Word of Art is run by the very lovely Lesley who has recently welcomed a new baby girl into her family.  As we were chatting back and forth via Facebook she explained to me that her third child was stillborn just days before her due date and that the first £1000 from A Word of Art had been donated to SANDS (please do go read more about this wonderful charity).

A Word of Art offers a variety of personalised word art for all occasions – each option can be personalised with different names, colours, print sizes, as a standard print, on canvas . . . so many choices to make sure that your art work is exactly what you want. Once your order is complete you are sent a proof of the image to check over before it is shipped out to you.

I gave each of our names and ages and Lesley sorted the rest!  We had a number of options to represent Amy – a small sitting child, a baby or the pram.  Dave and I eventually decided on a baby in the pram as it is true to our family now.  We chose a black and cream colour way as it gives us the most options as to where we will put the picture.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with our finished art work – I can’t wait to get it framed and on the wall!  I know this isn’t the best photograph *hangs head in shame* but I wanted to share this with you as soon as possible as I think it’s a great idea for a Christmas gift! If you’ve just had a bit of a lightbulb moment and are thinking this would indeed be the perfect Christmas present for someone then please bear in mind that Christmas orders must be made by Tuesday 10th December 2013 – please keep an eye on the facebook page just in case that changes!

*Disclaimer – I was sent the print free of charge for the purpose of review but all thoughts and opinions are my own*
