Me & Mine – February 2015

This month our Me & Mine snaps were all taken on our #SwanseaBayMoments weekend – it was the perfect chance to capture a few photos of us all together.

This first picture was taken at Gower Heritage Centre – I spotted a bit of wall which looked just the right height for resting the camera on whilst we sat on a bench.  This was the first time we’d used our new camera remote and whilst it worked well and we got a pretty good shot we do need to be aware of hiding it so it’s not obvious in the photo next time!

The second photo was taken on the beach at Mumbles.  Ben and Chloe were super excited about running around on the sand but Amy, as you can probably see in the picture, was less than impressed by how cold it was and had had enough of the wind in her face.  Dave took her back up to the car shortly after the picture was taken while the big two made footprints and searched for shells.
The final picture was taken at Swansea Waterfront Museum. I noticed our shadows and thought it would made a good snap.  I wish we’d moved the pushchair out of the way and that Amy’s shadow was clearer but I’m still pleased with it as a whole.
So there you go – that’s us for February.
(Keep an eye out for a series of posts about our adventures in Swansea Bay over the next few weeks!)

Thank you Carie 🙂 I'm hoping I can manage to get a good mix of different photos as we go along! The shadow one was a really spur of the moment thing but I was really pleased with it.

Thank you! It's definitely one I'll be trying again – perhaps without a pushchair in shot next time! x

Great photos! I have a little one who hates the cold wind too, so that funny face in the second picture looks familiar. My next investment camera-wise is going to be a remote I think.
