Things are particularly mad in our house at the moment as we get used to having Amy around and slip into new routines. Dave has only just gone back to work so I’m now getting a real taste of life as a Mum of three under 5. What I’m not getting a real taste of is my lunch! While Dave was at home he was on lunch duty making it and delivering it to the sofa (yes I know how lucky I am!) or holding Amy while I ate – now that he’s back at work I’ve got to sort lunch for Chlo and I . . . Basically I need things which are quick and easy and I can eat with one hand!
Enter Mattessons Double Dippers . . .
It would be really easy to spend my days munching on chocolate biscuits and crisps based on them being quick and easy to eat – but you know what I don’t want to spend the rest of my days looking I’ve just given birth – at some point next year I’d like to see my “wedding weight” again! Mattessons Double Dippers are high in protein (to keep you fuller!) and are less than 190 calories a pack. I love that you get to dip the chicken breast in a bit of sauce – it feels a bit naughty really (reminiscent of dipping crisps I suppose). At first I wasn’t convinced by the idea of “double dipping” – aside from the fact its messy I didn’t think I’d like the crunch effect. Erm wrong! It’s not messy and it’s delicious!
What I love about them:

* The chicken, sauce and crunchy bits are in separate compartments so you can control your dips!
* It comes with a nifty little fork – perfect for a quick snack at your desk
* Less than 190 calories a pack (need I say more?!)
* Protein to keep you feeling fuller – more satisfying than a crisps
* 4 flavours to choose from (the tikka was my favourite)
Looking at the results of this Mattessons survey I think we could all do with some decent snacking options!
