After a good month or so of messing about with meals out and birthdays and excuses I finally got my head back in the game this week. As I mentioned in last week’s post I didn’t get weighed last Saturday as I was at Blog Camp but I’d got on the scales at home and knew that I had some work to do if I was to break even and maintain this weekend.
I’ve been really focused all week – you know those weeks when it just seems to slot into place and it’s just not hard to stay on plan. I haven’t been hungry, I haven’t craved anything, I’ve felt no need to shove huge amounts of rubbish in my cake hole. I’ve just eaten well, written it all down and kept count of those syns.
Having started the week hoping to get a maintain, by the end of the week I was pretty sure I’d manage a loss of half a pound or so.
So yes, I was thrilled. 2lb off! I’ve now lost a total of 17lbs and I can really feel the difference. I’ve felt so much brighter and healthier this week.

With another blog conference yesterday and a day at a food festival today I can’t say I’ve eaten well – I’ve not particularly paid attention to my Syns but I’m back on plan tomorrow and hoping that next weekend I’ll be telling you I’ve hit the next stone under!
