Operation Wedding Weight – Weigh in #4

This weekend I attended my Saturday morning Slimming World class for the second time.  It’s so much easier than the Tuesday nights were and I really appreciate being able to go with a friend now!  

I was confident that the scales were going to show a loss this week – I’d really got back on track after our weekend away and the gain from last weekend.  We’ve been eating lots of jacket potatoes and fritata again – roll on pay day for a bit more variation!  I’d stuck pretty well within my syns.  There may have been a cakey treat in the Trafford Centre on Thursday night but it was planned (and more importantly enjoyed!)  I’m finding it quite easy to stick to plan at the moment – the thrill of another loss on the scales is far stronger than the need to stuff my face with treats right now . . . I just hope I can keep this focus going!

At class this week we talked about the fact that it’s 15 weeks till the official start of summer – which at 2lb a week would be 2 stone 2lb down . . . how amazing would that be to have lost 3 stone by the summer. YES PLEASE!

I must admit I didn’t feel quite as nervous stepping on the scales this week, I think maybe I’m getting used to it again! 

So although I’d set myself a target of a 3lb loss last week I’m thrilled with a 2.5lb loss.  I’m “back in credit” so to speak and that first stone is in sight.  With a really good week this week I might even see it by Saturday . . . we shall see!  I’m starting to feel a difference now – not so much in my clothes, it’s not like anything is falling off me but I can see it in photographs.  My face is looking a bit slimmer, my tummy a bit flatter.  I regret not having taken any measurements before I started so that’s something I need to do this week!

I’ve got nothing going on this week – no events or evening’s out planned – I can stick to plan 100%.  (I might have had a bit of a treat day on Saturday with lunch out and a chippy tea but we’ll gloss over that).

This week I’m concentrating on trying to get more “super free food” on my plate – for those of you not familiar with Slimming World this basically means MORE FRUIT AND VEG!

Fingers crossed come the weekend I’ll have a shiny new sticker on my book!

    I am with you on how awesome a 3 stone loss would be for summer – I am trying! Well done on another fantastic loss, Slimming World seems to be really working for you – you are back in credit! #OperationWeddingWeight is cracking on for sure!

      Thanks hun. My initial target was to lose 2 stone 4lbs to get back to my wedding weight & to do it by my best friend's wedding in July… So far so good. If I can manage three stone I'd be highly delighted!

      You are doing really well chick, I'm finding the SW journey really interesting – even after 10 weeks of reading how you are all doing… it still blows my mind! You will get there, just imagine that moment when you step on the scales and you have passed your 2 stone 4lbs original goal!xx
