Every Mum knows that the holy grail of laundry is the bottom of the washing basket and a non existent ironing pile right?
With a family of 5 to wash for I’ve not pretty much accepted that I will never see the bottom of the washing basket ever again! My washing machine is on every single day and usually more than once. Getting it all dry again is a nightmare and I’ve actually had to resort to putting the heating on a few times over the last couple of weeks.
I’ve recently been trying out a range of laundry products from Surcare. Ben and I both suffer from eczema and I am of course concious of the potential sensitivity of Amy’s fresh baby skin. This means I’m really wary of what I use to wash our clothes, once I’ve found a product which I know does the job without any nasty side effects I’ve tended to stick firmly too it. Surcare products contain no dyes, enzymes or acids making them ideal of delicate, young skin (or in fact just senstive, old skin like mine!)
I particularly like the new Surcare sachets – they’re so convenient to just chuck in the machine with no measuring, pouring and potentially spilling (yes I’m that clumsy). The whole range, which has been dermatologically tested and approved, cleans effectively whilst remaining gentle on the skin. I was pretty happy with the cleaning power offered by the Surcare products – I had several stubborn stains, which I would expect to be removed easily by my usual washing liquid, which were not completely cleaned by the Surcare however I think that’s to be expected with a product designed to be so gentle on the skin. It wasn’t too much of a hassle to just rewash those items with different products. I find I’m inclined to have a range of washing products to address different loads anyway (there’s no way I’d wash Dave’s dirty building clothes in with Amy’s baby grows for instance)
|Amy loves her new cosy dressing gown & the Surcare does a good job at keeping it soft and fluffy!|
Overall I was really impressed with the Surcare range and would be more than happy to continue using it on the children’s clothes.
|Thank you for my octupus – I love him x|
