Lulu Teaching Wall Clock – Review

We don’t actually have a proper clock in our house and I rarely wear a watch tending to rely on my phone for time checks or occasionally asking Ben to read out the numbers on the timer in the kitchen.  However learning to tell them time using an analogue clock is an important life skill.  (Of course there are some benefits to your child not being able to tell the time . . . cheeky early bedtime / lie in anyone?) Although the expectation is that Year 1 children should be able to tell the time using o’clock and half past, Ben has been able to read the time to quarter of an hour for quite a while now.  He’s been telling me “It’s after half past” or “nearly quarter to” – so we decided it was high time we taught him to read the time in 5 minute increments.…
