From winning “Best Pre-School Blog” in 2015 to reaching the finals of the MAD Awards in 2020, We’re Going on an Adventure has been lucky enough to be recognised in a whole range of blogging awards over the years. It’s always such an honour to be shortlisted alongside so many other brilliant writers and creators, and these little milestones mean a lot – they’re a lovely reminder of how far the blog has come and how much it continues to grow.

  • Colette Burgess is an experienced primary school teacher and has lived in Manchester for most of her adult life. She is married to Dave and they have three children aged 12, 15, and 17.
