Happy 4th Birthday Chloe!

Last Updated on 4 February 2020 by Colette

It’s crazy to think that my little girl turned 4 today!

She has absolutely stormed her first year at school with a glowing school report singing her praises at every turn from her “exceptional progress in Literacy” to her “flawless behaviour” we couldn’t be prouder of her.  She adores her teachers and has lots of friends, particularly talking about Violet and Willow.  She’s more than ready to start Reception in September, though I do think she will find the long days tiring.

Chloe loves to spend her time writing and drawing.  She loves phonics and is often pointing out letters and sounds to me.  She likes jigsaws but finds them tricky, she doesn’t let this stop her though and perseveres until she’s got the job done.

She started her swimming lessons earlier this year and though she’s finding them hard going she really does try her best.  She doesn’t like jumping in but I’m hoping that will change when we’re on holiday and she’s spent a bit more time in the water.

Being the middle child seems to be the best of both worlds for Chloe at the moment.  She adores her siblings and will play happily with either of them.  She misses them if either of them isn’t there and often asks if it’s time to go and collect Ben yet.

In true stereotypically girlie fashion Chloe loves princesses and fairies, she’s a huge fan of Frozen – still, but also loves Beauty & the Beast and Cinderella.  She still enjoys watching Cbeebies but given the choice would now prefer to watch a film.  Her favourite colours are red, yellow and pink.

For the most part our little girl is a gorgeous, smiley and happy lady however there are times she can be quite stubborn and get upset over seemingly nothing.  I’m hoping this phase of frustration and tears will pass quickly as it drives Daddy crackers though I fear it may just be a flash forward to the teenage years!

We are so proud of you Chlobo!

  1. She is bloomin' gorgeous! I can't believe her and LP are the same age, I always thought Chloe was older – and I remember each year and then forget again. Happy Birthday gorgeous girl! x
