This Spring, Cath Kidston have launched a fab new novelty print featuring a traditional English garden gnome! In true Cath Kidston style he features on everything from dresses to doorstops. To celebrate the arrival of Gnorris, 12 Cath Kidston stores held fabulous Gnome Painting Workshops over the bank holiday weekend – I had hoped to tell you about these before now but I didn’t get my Gnome painting kit until Monday – so apologies for not sharing the love!
Anyway, the lovely people at Cath Kidston sent us our very own Gnome making kit which Chloe and I tried out on Monday night whilst Ben was sleeping over at his best friend’s house. Wearing my fabulous new Gnorris the Gnome apron, we set about colouring our gnomes with special porcelain pens. (I may have hidden the glitter!)
Chloe took great care colouring in her gnome and I was pretty proud of my own efforts. We baked the in the oven yesterday and popped them out into the garden to keep an eye on my tiny new hydrangea. They make me smile every time I set foot outside the front door.
Check out the hashtags #GnorristheGnome and #GnorrisBC on Instagram to see what he’s been getting up to!
