Open Farm Sunday near Manchester [2026]

Last Updated on 8 January 2026 by Colette

This year’s Open Farm Sunday takes place on Sunday 7th June 2026 and sees hundreds of farms across the UK open their gates and welcome the public onto their land, offering them the chance to see first-hand all that farmers do and the impact their work has on all our lives.

Open Farm Sunday will look different at every farm you visit – because let’s face it, every farm is different! The Open Farm Sunday website has a handy “Open Farm Sunday near me” function to allow you to find out where your nearest “Open Farm” is. The website allows you to choose farms based on the activities you’d like to take part in. At some farms you will be able to meet the animals, you may be able to see a machinery demonstration or even enjoy a tractor and trailer ride. Some farms will offer a hosted farm tour whilst others offer self-guided walks.
