January done – thank goodness.
I don’t know about you but January is forever my least favourite month – the month where the weather is rubbish, the days are short and our bank accounts are empty!
January is the month that we tend to set aside for getting jobs done in the house – when we know we’re not going to be so busy with days out etc. Some years that has involved quite big jobs but this year it has been very much about ticking off smaller, less exciting tasks and trying to do the things that won’t really cost us too much money. Dave has spent a couple of weekends repainting the utility room – redoing all the woodwork and freshening up all the walls and it has made such a difference.
