Sylvanian Families – Review

This post features product gifted for review

I was never into Sylvanian Families as a child but my little sister loved them and had quite a collection so I was really excited when I was offered a set for Chloe to review.  (Can you hear the little song from the old advert in your head?!)

At the moment Chlo is really into “small world” – tending to play with Happy Land – these are about the same size but a little more grown up, for a start you don’t want fluffy hedgehogs in your mouth!  Sylvanian Families are the perfect size for little hands and make a lovely gift as there’s so much within the range to collect.

Chloe was really excited when her little hedgehog family arrived and we quickly had them out of the box to play with them.  I was surprised and pleased to see that Ben was really interested in them too.  They were soon busy playing with them and investigating them.  Chloe really enjoyed combing their spines and giving them little voices, Ben was keen to see if he could make them all stand up (this was trickier than you’d think!)

They’re such a cute little family – I have to admit to being less keen on some of the others you can get but Ben and Chloe are really enjoying the hedgehogs!  They’re not cheap but they are really good quality and very detailed so I think you are getting what you pay for.  You can buy the hedgehog family here.
