Much as I’m not a fan of fancy dress I can kinda get over it now that Ben and Chloe are old enough to actually enjoy the dressing up and pretending element of it rather than it just being grown ups dressing them in silly clothes to be laughed at! I was quite proud of my efforts – especially Ben’s face!
The kids all had a great time at the party – lots of over excited small people in fancy dress – lots of fun but exhausting! (especially for my two who had both swerved afternoon sleeps) The moment they were home and through the front door they were marched upstairs and into the bath before they even knew what was happening!!
