A gorgeous Sunday afternoon in the sunshine

Last Updated on 25 September 2019 by Colette

Today we decided to forgo Chloe’s afternoon sleep in favour of taking a trip out to the park and making the most of the sunshine.

In place of this week’s Silent Sunday post I’m going for a whole post of pictures of our lovely afternoon!!

1. Thomas enjoyed a bit of a wander in the sun too!
2. Higher Mummy!
3. Peepo!
1. Just hanging around
2. Horse riding
3. Extreme motorbike
1. Handsome boy
2. Mummy attempting to get an action shot of his jumps!
3. Balancing
1. Sticks!
2. Air!
3. Wheeee!
1. Look at me Mummy!
2. & 3. Needless to say my heart was in my mouth watching how high Dave was pushing them!
1. The little lady loves her big bro!
2. Chocolate ice creams all round & a very tired face
3. The lack of afternoon sleep caught up on her and she had 20 mins on the sofa

Roll on many more sunny days and fresh air I say!

  1. Oh what lovely photos!! I am also loving the sunshine, we had a massively productive weekend of garden and house sorting – Made a lot easier by the nice weather and A being happy to play in the garden 🙂 x

    • Its so much more satisfying to do jobs like that on a nice day isn't it! We've got a huge amount of work to do on our house & garden this year!

  2. Hooray for the lovely sunshine this weekend! Let's hope there many more days like this coming our way as it makes such an instant difference to how the day starts. Lovely photos of the children having a wonderful time exhausting themselves at the park, thanks for linking up and sharing your family fun with Country Kids.
