Beaute Mediterranea Botox Like Syn-Ake Eye Contour Cream – Review

I’m a 36 year old mother of three young children.  I no longer have the plump smooth skin of my fresh faced twenties.  Fine lines and tired looking eyes are par for the course.

I’ve tried many an eye cream over the years – as much for comfort as for the prevention of fine lines.  Applying an eye cream or serum morning and night is a fairly standard part of my skin care routine and I’m careful to only use specially designed products – you won’t catch me just slapping my normal facial moisturiser on my delicate eye area.

Face the Future kindly sent me Beaute Mediterranea Botox Like Syn-Ake Eye Contour Cream to try out.  They had me at “Botox Like”.  I’ve never had any work done on my face, but I can’t deny I wouldn’t try out a smidge of Botox given half the chance but hey it’s expensive and I haven’t really got time so an eye cream promising Botox Like effects is always going to be appealing.  The highly concentrated cream contains Syn-ake (a synthetic version of snake venom) which works to reduce muscle contractions and therefore creates a Botox like effect lifting the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Alongside the hero ingredient, Syn-Ake, the eye cream contains Argan Oil and Shea Butter for comfort and moisture alongside “soft focus agents” which leave the skin looking nourished and smooth.

The cream itself is light yet rich, it doesn’t feel heavy on your delicate eye area but you immediately notice the moisturising effects.  The most dramatic difference for me is on a morning where my eyes feel tired.  Applying the cream gives an almost instant boost, my eyes feel more wide awake and comfortable and within moments there is a visible effect on the fine lines as the Syn-Ake takes effect and reduces muscle contractions.  The cream sits really nicely under my make up but I’ve been known to reapply during the day when I feel like my eyes need a little boost!

I must admit I wasn’t entirely convinced that this cream could live up to it’s promises but after a few weeks of use I’m suitably impressed and it has quickly become a staple part of my beauty routine!

Eye gels are all the same, they don't seem to work and then all of a sudden you start to see differences. This looks really good.
