Our package contained  new range of Dora & Friends toys from Fisher Price.  The girls were thrilled to received a bundle of goodies to try out.

Amy was straight in there with the new Dora Smartphone – like most children of her age she has more than a passing interest in my phone which I’m not keen to encourage.  I’m rather hoping that her desire for pretending to chat to people will be sated with her new Dora phone – so far so good!

Chloe on the other hand is a big fan of jewellery – be it mine or her own!  She was excited to find the Magic Charms Bracelet Set and a Dora Magic Adventure Charms Set.  The charms and bracelets are all interchangeable meaning you can swap them about to personalise your bracelets or even swap them with your friends.  There’s a tick chart on the back of the packaging so you can keep track of which ones you’ve already got.

My personal favourites though were the Dora and Alana dolls – both girls love to play with dolls and Amy is often to be seen pushing a baby around the house.  Chloe on the other hand has started to play with more grown up dolls which she can role play with.  As soon as I saw these dolls in the box I knew she would love them.  I particularly like that they are just little girls and are therefore ideal for girls of Chloe’s age.  So often dolls of this type are dress in very grown up fashion or are covered in make up which isn’t really what I want my little girl to aspire to at the age of 4.

On 6th August our local Smyths Toys store in Bury will play host to the #DoraSingAlong booth which is touring the UK giving your little ones the chance to sing along with Dora!

*We were sent the Dora & Friends free of charge for the purposes of review however all thoughts and opinions remain our own*

I'm giggling reading your thoughts on the dolls, I liked that they weren't Barbie-esque! There's just too much of it about isn't there ?
