365 Days of Happy is a brand-new book by psychotherapist and wellbeing author Becky Goddard-Hill.
Its pages are brightly coloured, and it is the perfect pocket sized book meaning it can be carried around and easily placed on a bedside table or in a Christmas stocking!
It has just been published alongside it’s companion books 365 days of Calm and 365 days of Kind. The books follow the year with something inspirational each and every day.
Each week is themed and starts with an activity followed by inspiring quotes and affirmations on each following day.
These books are designed to be a fun and easy way to support kids’ emotional health and wellbeing practices each and every day.

Here is an activity from 365 Days of Happy to help boost kids’ happiness
Creating a happiness planner
‘Make a planner for the week and against each day plan in one thing you know will make you happy’
Kids could make this as elaborate as they wanted with all their pens, stickers and glitter, or they may want to be more low key and simply write it in a notebook or journal. The key is that they are taking charge of their happiness.
The affirmations for the week include …
I will fill my day with happiness
And I can make my self happy
And the quotes for the week are …
It is not how much we have but how much we enjoy that makes happiness – Charles Spurgeon
Carpe Diem – seize the day
Remember happiness doesn’t depend on who you are or what you have it depends solely on what you think – Dale Carnegie
Design a life you love to live
How creating a happiness planner helps
Helping kids realise that they can make their own lives happier helps increase their sense of control and their confidence and in turn, that feeling of empowerment helps them feel more robust in challenging times.
