Happy 2nd Birthday to our cheeky, stubborn, independent and utterly beautiful little girl!
We celebrated Chloe’s birthday on Saturday with a trip to Heaton Park with Granny, Grandad and Aunty Nic and then home to a lovely Birthday BBQ with added Aunty Custard & Chris. Ben and Chlo had a lovely afternoon in the sun splashing about in the paddling pool.
Today on her actual birthday I spent a good few minutes in bed first thing looking at newborn Chloe pictures on Facebook and doing a “This time two years ago” – I remembered lying in bed starving and nervously waiting for Dave to arrive. I remembered the longest wait ever for the EMCS who had snuck in before me to be finished so it would finally be my turn. I remembered how scared I was in the run up to my section even though I was “experienced” and knew what would happen. I remembered the birth of my gorgeous little girl.
How have two years passed already? She makes us so proud every day. Â I love to watch her learning, trying out new words, using her manners, being so determined to do things for herself and getting so cross when it doesn’t work first time. I love watching the way she plays with Ben and how much the love each other. I lover her cuddles and her cheeky smile. Â Much as I want her to stay like this forever I’m excited to see her grow into a gorgeous little girl!
