Headaches . . . who has time for them?!  From a dull ache that lasts all day to a full blown migraine, headaches really are no fun.

Luckily I can count on one hand the number of full migraines I’ve had. They were completely debilitating and always followed the same pattern of strange visual disturbances followed by a blinding headache, vomit and sleep.

I am prone to more standard headaches though – a need for glasses, not drinking enough water, stress or just generally being Mum to three noisy kids are just some of the known causes of headaches for this lady.

I’ve often said that one of the hardest things about being a mum is carrying on when you feel poorly.  Before having kids you can phone in sick, spend the day in bed, lie on the sofa and watch This Morning, generally look after yourself and take the time to recover.  As a parent this just doesn’t happen.  The kids still need feeding, the washing still needs doing and there is definitely no option for lying quietly on the sofa.

Kool 'n' Soothe forehead strips provide instant relief from headaches and migraine

When a headache hits I need a fast working solution, something which will take the pain away quickly and allow me to carry on with my day.  As a busy mum of three with a house to run, a blog to write and a part time teaching job as well, I certainly don’t have time for headaches slowing me down or waiting for medication to kick in.

Kool 'n' Soothe cooling forehead strips

Kool ‘n’ Soothe provides immediate cooling relief whilst you wait for your pain relief medication to do its stuff.  Ready to use straight from the pack with no need for refrigeration, Kool ‘n’ Soothe are always there when you need them.  The power of the cooling gel sheet is applied to the forehead for up to 8 hours of cooling relief – obviously not something you’re going to walk around the shops wearing but perfect for getting a head start on your recovery.

Oh, and as a cheeky bonus, they’re well worth keeping in the cupboard for the occasional hangover over the coming festive period!

Get a head start and stick some in you’re trolley next time your shopping, you never know when you might need them.
