Ben, like many boys his age, is more than a bit obsessed with construction kits at the moment. He has an ever increasing collection of Lego at home and when I collect him from after school clubs he’s often to be found building models with magnetic kits or other construction items. I knew he was going to be thrilled when I was offered the opportunity for him to try out the Laser Pegs 8-in-1 Helicopter Construction Set

I’m going to hand over to Ben to let you know what he thought of the kit:
What we love about it:
* Laser Pegs are designed to be 100% compatible with other construction kits – which is a massive bonus in my eyes!
* The light up effect is really impressive
* It was complex enough to keep Ben busy but not so challenging as to make him give up or need too much help
* Price wise its on a par with other construction kits
What we’re not so keen on
* The instruction sheet is enormous and would have been easier to handle in booklet form
As you can see from the video, Ben loves his Laser Pegs and would be more than happy to add some more to his collection!

aaaa these look brilliant, I like that my girls are very much into construction, lego etc. Ben's done a fab job in the video 🙂 x
I was pretty impressed with his reviewing skills too! Chloe got her first Lego today so perhaps she will be following in Ben's footsteps very soon.

We're delighted to see young Benjamin doing a marvelous job with his Laser Pegs Helicopter Set!
We know the "black and white" instructions left something to be desired… We're putting color booklet manuals into all of the sets now and they will be available this holiday season. Have a peek at the Helicopter manual here:
That's the new manual for Ben's set there. Perhaps he'll not be so frustrated with the new sets.
