I knew it had been a long time since I’d managed to do a Me & Mine post – but actually searching back through my site, the last time I published a post featuring pictures of us as a family of five was back in December 2017 . . . How did that happen? I’m sure there must be more pictures of us all together and that they’ve just not made it into a dedicated post? I hope so anyway!
I’m slightly late on this being as how it’s now the 4th of June, however we were on holiday in France last week which means that a) I didn’t have time to write a post but b) I do actually have some pictures to share of us all together – mostly be virtue of my recent selfie stick purchase, something I swore I would never buy but which actually has turned out to be quite handy. Dave’s arms are no longer big enough to reach and get all five us in the frame so the selfie stick gives him a bit of help!

Oh wow, was it that long ago. Crikey. Nice to see you back in with it. I love these shots, especially the one of you in the stripey top
I can’t believe how long it’s been! I love that picture too 🙂
Hahaha. I love being able to get by in French, it makes you so proud. My proudest moment was when we took all 7 kids to Europe and in Germany our wheel bearing went on the trailer. It was a day the shops were shut, but businesses were open, so we went to a farming mechanic and begged in our best German for a pump to push grease into the bearing. They understood after 5 minutes and now I will never forget Fettpressen as long as I live 😀
That’s amazing! My win this time was managing to get the right medication in a pharmacy. I’m sure if I had a “real life” problem beyond ordering food, reading road signs and instructions that I might struggle but it’s nice to know that I can get by!
