You would think in December I’d have a whole world of family photos to share with you but I haven’t. VLOGMAS meant the I spent much of December with my vlogging camera in hand, filming our day to to day lives during the build up to Christmas. What that does mean is that I didn’t concentrate particularly on taking photos – I have the odd snap here and there but it my big camera has been very much set aside for the month. I did get it out on Christmas morning only to find the room was just too dark and then I got caught up in family, presents and food – which is of course as it should be.
Usually at this time of year we take a trip up to Heaton Park for some fresh air (and to take some photos!) but thus far the weather has foiled our plans – I’m hoping we might manage to go tomorrow but in the meantime my Me & Mine photo for the month is of us on our annual ice-skating adventure with the Butlers.

* New clothes (particular favourites include grey skinny jeans and a denim shirt)
* His new tablet (especially as he saved up half the cost himself)
* The Xbox (obviously)
* Reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (which is Mummy’s favourite too!)
Chloe is loving
* Writing stories
* Playing Hexic on the Xbox
* Prancing about with her dance ribbon
* Lie ins
* Having Daddy off work
Amy is loving
* Rose gold glitter Converse
* All the chocolate
* Spending whole mornings in her pjs
* Charming everyone she meets
* Her new cow bedding
Oh I was very much the same only taking our family snaps right before because I truly have just taken time off with the family. We haven’t done anything special and our days were lazy and indoors so I didn’t even attempt vlogmas as I thought I just might bore everyone reading and laying on the sofa day after day the kids new playroom is a dream for that they play I rest. Pregnancy and being away from family didn’t make for a huge celebration this year but I have enjoyed the quiet and down time. Hard to get back to it. You inspiring me so much getting that camera up everyday I don’t know how you do it. I didn’t even take a photo on xmas day or our dinner at all ooops. I feel you with the vlogmas/photo problem, it’s just too hard to do everything isn’t it? This is really fun though and I guess how December should be x
I was the same on Christmas Day, it was still dark when I thought about taking photos and then just caught up in the day. Love ice skating, it’s one of our favourite things to do every year. Happy New Year x
