You would think that after a week’s holiday in the woods together that I’d have a whole array of family snaps to share this month wouldn’t you? You’d be wrong. I have hundreds and hundreds of photos of our trip but nothing of all of us together well except for this one we took just as we were setting off and one with Boss Ben at the end of the week!
We’re going on an adventure…. Over the next few months we’re going to be working with Piri to prove that you don’t have to be a slave to your allergies this summer… We’re heading off to The Lake District for a week of ‘Wild Living’ – no WiFi, no running water and a ‘self-composting toilet’ which the kids currently think is hilarious but I’m not sure sure how amused they’ll be in reality. Wish us luck!! #AD
I can’t believe we’ve been home from our Piri Allergy adventure in the Lake District for a week already. The experience feels so surreal looking back. Not a day has gone by where we haven’t spoken about the things we got up to with Boss Ben or remembered something funny about our trip. It was a week of memories made that’s for sure! ❤️ #AD
I had fully intended to take some proper photos this weekend – to take the tripod to my Mum and Dad’s and get some pictures in the back garden or maybe even the rape seed field down the road but no, for one reason or another I failed! So for April, I will leave you with this picture of us all proudly sitting in our new tent which Dave & I had just pitched for the first time before the kids played in it for the rest of the day!
Check us out! We’ve just done our first practice pitch of our new tent from @milletsonline! It took us 45 minutes to get it up which I don’t think is too bad considering we’re basically complete novices! There wasn’t even any swearing! The kids are super excited to have a bedroom to share! #homefromhome #mymillets (Edited to add it took us half an hour to get it down and back in the bag the following day)
Next month I promise to take some proper photos and not just embed from instagram! Whoops.
