Life is busy right now. Crazy busy. Dave is training for a 70 mile bike ride in a few weeks, I’ve been working on some big freelance contracts as well as trying to fit in a couple of days teaching each week. The kids were more than ready for half term by the end of last week and we were all looking forward to some adventures together!
I often find I struggle for words a bit when I’m writing my Me & Mine post so I’m going to take a leaf out of Lucy’s book and talk about what we’re all loving this month:
Dave is loving
* Android Auto!
* seeing Maximo Park live
* drinking cocktails in the afternoon
* spec-ing up a new computer for Col
* accidentally on purpose making Col cycle twice as far as she’d expected to
Colette is loving
* cracking out the Saltwater sandals again
* Lush King of Skin
* driving Dave’s new car
* a spontaneous night out with K Hiz
* having a shower in peace
Ben is loving
* busting some new moves in his Street Dance class
* learning the words to Everything Everything’s Distant Past
* reading Billionaire Boy
* moving up to green hats at swimming
* getting as high as possible on the swings
Chloe is loving
* Justin Timberlake – Can’t Stop the Feeling
* wearing summer dresses without leggings
* skipping
* drawing pictures
* new sparkly sandals
Amy is loving
* going to her friend’s house for a play date for the first time
* playing with Baby Jack
* play doh
* sunny trips to the park
* Fruit Pastilles ice lollies

I love selfie photos, they always bring a fun element to photos. Good luck to Dave, that is a long time on a bike! I love cracking out the sandals too, fed up of my feet in boots. x

Yay for Saltwater sandal weather!! I went digging for mine in the back of the cupboard this week and it’s so nice to look down and have bright orange feet again! I hope you have a wonderful half term and lots of rest in among all the crazy busy!

I can’t stand them tbh but this is no bad thing as it means I can’t steal them from the kids!
