My favourite jewellery brands on instagram

The devil is in the detail as they say – and over the years that detail for me has tended to focus on my make up and my jewellery. Being a mum of three kids and working from home has meant that for the most part my wardrobe is practical and comfortable and relies heavily on black jersey. I’m getting better at branching out – I’ve got some gorgeous patterned dresses in my wardrobe now but on the day to day, my wardrobe is pretty boring and repetitive so I turn to lipstick and jewellery to lift that and make my look feel more pulled together.

In the past my accessories would have been picked up in Accessorize or H&M but I’ve recently been drawn to investing in more expensive pieces, jewellery that will last but which still has a bit of an edge. Instagram is often my inspiration for this and with that in mind I wanted to share with you my favourite jewellery brands on instagram.

Gold jewellery collection featuring Rachel Jackson, Tada & Toy, Daisy London and Missoma

Rachel Jackson

I first came across Rachel Jackson after admiring a necklace a blogger was wearing on her instagram feed. I quickly fell in love with the most amazing pair of Electric Goddess hoops and lusted after them for months before finally asking Dave to buy me them for Christmas. They were expensive, probably the most expensive earrings I’ve owned but I loved them then and am still in love with them now. They always draw compliments when I wear them and they were definitely the start of an expensive love affair with Rachel Jackson! I’ve since bought her jewellery as gifts for two of my best friends, have received her jewellery as gifts and even treated myself once or twice!

Daisy London

I’ve been following Daisy London for a while and had popped a pair of Daisy Jewellery Estée Lalonde Sunburst Huggie Earrings on my Christmas list (who doesn’t love jewellery gifts) but my first Daisy London piece is a beautiful Shell Cuff Bangle * which layers up nicely with a Rachel Jackson bracelet I already own and the Estée Lalonde Flat Snake Chain Bracelet which Dave bought me recently – I’d love to add the Isla Double Rope Bracelet for texture!

Missoma

I was introduced to Missoma by my best friend Kirst when she fell in love with their mini claw hoops and then I bought her a pair of tiny beaded hoops for her birthday. Missoma is all about gold, layers and playing with textures and size – I’ve recently just added a little gold huggies with blue stones to my collection but I’ve got quite a wish list of larger pieces! (If you’re on the hunt for a Missoma discount code, this link will give you £10 off your first Missoma order over £40 and they have a great loyalty programme too so it’s worth signing up to that and saving your points up for new pieces!)

Tada & Toy

I don’t know how I first came across Tada & Toy on instagram but it was love at first sight for these beautiful Star Hoop Earrings which remained on my lust list for about a year before Dave treated me to them for Christmas and I’ve been wearing them regularly since – either layered up with bigger earrings or as the main event. Their instagram feed is a constant source of “ear party” inspiration!

Kirstin Ash

Kirstin Ash is an Australian brand and I was first drawn in by the instagram picture below – It made me want to put all the holes in my ears and I was hard in love with statement earrings. I ummed and aaahed over buying them when they had an amazing discount but, by the time I decided to bite the bullet and buy them, they’d gone. Sad sad times. I still regret not investing in those beauts when I had the chance! I do have a pair of tiny gold hearts though which are in my ears on a near daily basis! I love that you can buy lots of their earrings as singles – the pointed star studs are a recent purchase and I love the “Golden Light” earrings.

Monica Vinader

Monica Vinader is a UK brand with a global presence. The design team are based in Norfolk and their jewellery is stocked by global luxury retailers including Selfridges, Liberty, John Lewis, Farfetch and Nordstrom. I now have quite a few MV pieces in my collection – mostly earrings but I’ve recently added a necklace (which I’m going to need to add an extender for – necklaces rarely fit me!)

I apologise wholeheartedly if this post hurts your bank balance! Let me know whats on your wishlist – or if you love a jewellery brand that I need to be following!
