Our Family – April 2023

It’s been a really long time since I’ve written a family update and shared a family photo – partly because I just fell out of the habit but mainly because we don’t really get round to taking pictures of all of us togeher.

At the start of April, we paid a flying visit to Dublin and Belfast – I was taking pictures of Dave with the kids and, unusually I had asked him to take one of me with them too when a really lovely gentleman stopped and asked if we’d like him to take a picture of us all together. Now usually I’m the first one to offer in this situation but I’m also the first to decline, to say “oh no it doesn’t matter but thanks anyway” – and really I should know better shouldn’t I? I should just say yes because it might not be the best photo, but at least it’s a photo that I’m in, that proves we were all there together!

So, because I said yes and we do actually have a photo of us all together this month, I thought I’d share it along with a little update for April – maybe I’ll even make a habit of it!
