June has been a busy month starting with Ben being knee deep in GCSE exams and ending with a complete change of pace for him – lie ins, no pressure and more shifts at work. For the rest of us there’s been a lot of work, a lot of plates to juggle and plenty of sunshine in the mix too. All in June has been a pretty good month but I’m definitely excited for July and the summer holidays!
As I’ve said before, trying to get a photo of all five of us together is pretty difficult these days and stopped me from being able to write these posts for a long time so instead I’m just sharing a selection of photos with us all in!
Dave is loving

* Time with his oldest friends and seeing ours kids hanging out together
* Messing about at the driving range
* A golf afternoon with the lads from work
Colette is loving
* Finally starting HRT (even though I can’t actually tell the difference)
* A bonus week of half term when the kids had gone back
* Ben’s exams being over
* Putting two new dresses in my wardrobe
* Sunshine
Ben is loving
* Finally getting his GCSEs out of the way and being able to relax
* Getting suited and booted for his Year 11 prom
* Getting some more hours in at work
* Researching motorbikes
* Sleeping in – this is a whole new experience for Ben!
Chloe is loving
* Dora Camp
* Dua Lipa
* Her new adidas trackies
* Love Island with Mum
* Being allowed into Manchester on her own for the first time
Amy is loving
* NUTs camp with Scouts
* Rehearsing for her end of year performance
* A visit to Mrs Dowsons to feed the calves
* SATs and writing moderation being done and dusted
* Getting excited about her new school
Poppy is loving
* Having Ben at home more
* Long walks with Ben during the day
* The back door being open
