Any preschooler worth their salt knows who Peppa Pig is – my 2 year old god daughter is a big fan at the moment! Â In fact I bought her a Peppa Pig Helter Skelter for her birthday last weekend which she loved. Â She’s at that age where she’s really excited by TV characters so I know I’ll be adding to her collection come Christmas. Peppa Pig merchandise has been everywhere now for a good few years so it won’t be difficult to find her something she’ll love.
If I’d been a bit more flush I’d have loved to have treated her to tickets to Peppa Pig’s Big Splash Live Tour – I know she’s been to see In the Night Garden Live earlier this year and was entranced. Â I think an “experience” make such a fantastic gift – especially for little ones who already have lots of toys! Â Seeing your favourite TV character on stage is definitely a good introduction to theatre. Â Ben and Chloe loved our trip to see Sooty last month, in fact even Amy was interested in what was happening on stage!

Of course none of these destinations are particularly local for us up here in Manchester so it would be the perfect excuse to make a bit of a weekend of it and book a hotel (Holiday Inn Farnborough would be really convenient for Woking or perhaps Holiday in Southampton, Holiday Inn Eastleigh or Holiday Inn Fareham which would all be good spots to stay for the Southampton shows).
I think I’d be getting myself the crown for the best god mother ever! Â Of course it would be worth it just to see the smile on her little face when she saw all her favourite characters dancing around on stage in front of her!
I WANNA GO!!!!!!! Erm… well…. LP might like to go. Nothing about me at all x
