Siblings – April 2018

As I write this month’s Siblings post, we are nearing the end of what has felt like the longest Easter holiday ever.  I think with Easter weekend itself being right at the start of the holidays and the fact we had Dave off with us for a week, the holidays have lingered on beautifully, it really does feel like we’ve been off for such a long time.  I’d like to tell you that we’re all well rested and ready to go back but after a lot of late nights this week and some lazy lie ins, I fear Monday morning might be something of a challenge for us all.

For the most part my little team have got on pretty well over the last month – we’ve had some lovely family time, both adventures and more lazy days at home.  The three of them have invented more imaginary games and scenarios than you can shake a stick at – and mostly I love them but I must admit that the voices that go along with this pretend play grate on me after a while and I have to send them upstairs to carry on their game!  There has been a little bickering and some frayed tempers but mainly just love – I caught Chloe and Amy snuggled up on the sofa together watching tv yesterday morning, mirror images of one another and my heart melted.

I think we’re all ready for the break that school will bring – Chloe and Amy have both said they are looking forward to seeing their friends again and I think they need a break from one another really.Siblings April 2018 Siblings April 2018

  1. Haha, you say lingered on beautifully… I say lingered on and on and on…. though that was because one or both of mine were ill for the whole two weeks!
Love these pics though, they remind me of some posh beachwear/cornwall fashion brands photo shoot!

  2. I love their coordinating outfits that match your trademark stripes hahah too cute. They look and sound like they had a blast over easter spring break. Wish we hadn’t had so much rain. Good luck for monday wake up. Good to get back into a routine. #siblingsproject

  3. I couldn’t agree more about the Easter holidays. It’s really felt like a proper break to have Easter at the very start and an extra day with Good Friday. It’s been so good, but tomorrow is going to be tough! Bickering one minute, bickering the next. Yep, we’ve had that too! Love those photos. Your three in their nautical style by the sea: perfection! Where are those dungarees from??? They look so good!

  4. Such lovely photos of your three 🙂 I love their matching outfits! The Easter Holidays felt long for us too xx #SiblingsProject
