The end of June is upon us. I fear I may have blinked at some point and missed about three weeks. I just don’t know where the time has gone. However, it seems to me a good time to do a quick update on the Summer Bucket List:
1. Alfresco diningÂ
Although we started off June with some glorious weather, that has sadly not lasted and the grey skies and frequent downpours have not been conducive to alfresco dining in general. Â Fingers crossed we see some improvement over the coming weeks!
5. My second BML experienceÂ
Last Friday saw me traipsing off to London with Jenny to #BML16 for the second time – the weekend passed in a blur of cocktails, catching up with friends, meeting new faces, tears and even a bit of learning. Â Oh and I got to meet Cherry Healey! Hell yes. Â I’m not going to do a full write up of the conference, this time I’ve made you a vlog instead – go watch it!
10. Visit Alton Towers
I’ve totally failed to do a proper write up of our weekend but I promise it’s on my to do list – needless to say we had an amazing trip and in the meantime you can read all about our thoughts on our Konfidence swimwear at Splash Landings and watch the videos we made:
So, one month in we’ve not made all the much progress – but I guess really I’m aiming to get most of it ticked off in the summer holidays. We have less than three weeks now till the kids break up for summer and I’m so looking forward to our extended summer holidays (7 weeks this year if you please!) I sat down with Ben and Chloe on Sunday night and asked them to write me a list of things that they might like to do over the summer holidays and I plan to share those lists with you soon!
Keep your eyes peeled for more updates over the next couple of months!
