At almost 5, Chloe has discovered a real love of colouring in. Twice a week she goes to after school club and almost every night, without fail, she will be sat at the same table surrounded by scissors, sellotape and an array of pens and pencils – writing messages and colouring princesses. There’s been tears on a number of occasions when I’ve picked her up “too early” and she hasn’t finished whatever task she was engrossed in.
When BIC asked me to review their new BIC Kids Colouring Activity Set I knew immediately it would be a big hit with Chloe.

When you look at the individual cost of buying these items this represents really good value and I love the way it’s all stored in one convenient pack – I’d have flipping loved this as a kid and unsurprisingly Chloe does too.
I love that the set has everything Chloe could need from pencils to felt tip pens in every colour imaginable. It’s easy to tidy up and store and would be ideal for travel. She was super excited to dive straight in and start colouring. The set comes with a handy activity booklet with tear out pages of colouring in, things to make and word searches. And of course, being BIC, the products are all great quality and easy to use.
The weather is horrible here today but I did smile to see the kids all jumping in the puddles and enjoying getting wet x
My daughter came out of school clutching a rubber that she won in the class raffle, from their reward tokens, she was super chuffed and grinning from ear to ear, and didn't even moan as we walked home in the pouring rain!!!!
My hubby has been making me smile today with his daft sense of humour.

This looks really handy as I hardly ever get colouring things out for Mia as I hate the fact everything ends up everywhere (shes 3!) however having a handy case where everything has its place looks great and I know Mia would love it 🙂

I volunteer for a group of adults with mental health problems and our materials funding has been cut. Everyone loves using felt tips and colouring pencils so, if I won, I'd donate it to the group (even though I'd love to win them for myself 🙂 )
As to what's made my smile today- memories of a lovely meal yesterday with my sister and her new fiancee and our mother.
