And so we are reaching the end of another year, a time when many of us will look back on what we’ve achieved (or not as the case may be) over the past year and begin to consider how we may want things to be different over the coming year, a time to set targets and goals.
I’m not one for New Year’s Resolutions if I’m honest. Â Why wait till the 1st of January to change something? Â I think it’s too easy to set a whole load of resolutions, try to change too much at once and just end up failing.
Regular readers will know that I like to write a Bucket List at the start of each new season. A list of things that we’d like to achieve as a family over the coming few months. The shorter time frame makes things more manageable, if I had a list for the whole year I would likely forget about it and then panic in the last month that I’d not done anything!
I’m no good at predicting the future (though the guys at TheCircle would have a good go for me) however over the coming year I think there will be lots to look forward too. There will continue to be plenty of focus on making our newly extended house a proper home as we get used to finally having more space, we are hoping to take our first family holiday abroad and are crossing our fingers tightly that we might finally be able to invest in a bigger family car which will actually fit the whole family in . . .

| 2014 was most definitely “The Year of the Build” |
On a personal level I’m determined that Dave and I will be able to take more time for ourselves this year – both individually and as a couple. The occasional meal out, a trip to the cinema – an excuse to wear something other than leggings!
Will you be making any New Years Resolutions this year? What are you looking forward to in 2015? I’d love to know.

Time with Hubby sounds like a plan and definitely one I should sign up to as well! x
