January 4th:
When Daddy got home from work tonight we were sat in the dark while Ben played with his new penguin torch – Daddy thought it was very funny. Ben was shining his torch up onto the ceiling and telling me it was the moon. Daddy showed him how to make shadows on the wall. We had to put the lights back on to make tea and Ben kept asking “Switch the dark back on please Mummy!”
January 9th
Ben woke up very sad from his afternoon sleep today – it turns out he had fallen asleep sat by his bedroom door. He can’t have been very comfortable as he didn’t sleep long at all!
January 10th
standing in the doorway this morning on the way out to playschool:
Mummy: Come on Ben, out you go!
Ben: Oh sorry love, I was just thinking about the wind.
After his afternoon nap: The moon has turned the lights off, he’s a cheeky boy!
January 12th
This week Ben has insisted on calling me “Ted Glen”, he is “Postman Pat” and Chloe is “Jess the Cat”.
January 13th
My boy has got such beautiful manners – I asked him to say “Bye” to Janet this morning and he said “Thank you to having me at your school!”
Everyone was very impressed.
28th October 2012: So as you can see I didn’t get very far with the old pen and paper thing – far easier to type and at least this way I can add photos :o) I have moved the post back to January just so that when it comes to reading things back they are chronological x
