My Nametags – Giveaway

I’ve been using My Nametags on my children’s things for a couple of years now and can’t recommend them highly enough.  We use them on everything from drinks bottles and book bags to school jumpers and coats.  They’re so simple to use – no ironing or sewing, they literally just peel off and stick on – you can label up a full set of school uniform in a matter of minutes.  My Nametags are dishwasher safe and washing machine safe, they don’t fade and they don’t fall off – I think in the last two years I’ve probably had to replace about 5 labels, which considering we use them on just about everything we own is not bad going!

The bright colourful labels can be personalised with any number of designs meaning that even if you child can’t read their own name yet, they will still be able to recognise their own labels.  This time round I let Ben, Chloe and Amy design their own labels . . . (and then tweaked them slightly after they’d gone to school to make the more legible, Amy’s choices were interesting to say the least)

The labels come in a handy storage envelope, which is great for tucking them away safely.  The little window to show which labels are inside is also super handy if you’ve got a few sets of labels on the go like me!

You can personalise your labels with up to three lines of text meaning that as well as your child’s full name you could also add a phone number which is fantastic for coats or soft toys that could literally be lost anywhere, for school uniform it’s probably over kill.

Anything that leaves our house for school or nursery, gets a sticker slapped onto it.  It takes a matter of seconds and at just over 20p a label is well worth it to my mind.  (I’ve been that teacher who is holding up clothes at the end of the school day that nobody wants to claim, or wasting 20 minutes looking for someone’s cardigan at the end of the day.  Just label it.  It makes everyone’s life so much easier!)

These do look fab – and much easier than sewing in name tapes like my mum used to do!

Absolutely! Why sew when you can stick!

Great idea! Love that I wouldn’t have to iron things on tricky items!
