Asylum Entertainment Limited have teamed up with one of Europe’s biggest scare attraction companies to take over the derelict building of Newsham Park Hospital once more to create a horrifying Halloween vision: Newsham Scream Park – set to be the UK’s scariest Halloween destination this autumn!
What is Newsham Scream Park?
Long since abandoned to the elements, Newsham Park Hospital is a mecca for ghost hunters and spectral thrill seekers, with many claiming to have seen spirits, heard whispers or felt the touch of something cold on their spine. It is regularly cited as one of the UK’s most haunted buildings, stalked by those who used to govern it or be its unfortunate guests. Many believe its history has left an indelible presence lurking in the corners, emerging only at night.
This Halloween, Newsham Scream Park brings four scare attractions to the derelict Newsham Park Hospital site:
- Victorian Psycho,
- Witch Hunt,
- Phantasma’s Hall of Freaks
- Larst Resort,
- plus a Horror Selfie Museum and street entertainment
Each experience will wind through the dark bowels of the building, filled with deepening dread and moments of sheer blood-curdling panic, as guests follow each nightmarish path through Newsham Scream Park – this is definitely not an experience for the faint hearted.
When does Newsham Scream Park open?
This year’s Newsham Scream Park experience opens on Friday 3rd October and runs to Friday 31st October 2025
The first scare attraction will open from 6pm with last entry at 9.30pm

What age is Newsham Scream Park suitable for?
Four terrifying scare attractions will wind through the building’s creepy corridors and decaying dormitories, filled with horrifying thrills at every turn – this is absolutely not a Halloween event for children. This event is strictly aged 14+
How much does entry cost to this Halloween event?
Tickets for Newsham Scream Park are available to book now priced at £33.35 including booking fee. Group tickets are not available this year.
Can you pre-book tickets for Newsham Scream Park?
Newsham Scream Park is only open for a limited time from early October to Halloween itself so tickets are really limited and are expected to be booked up quickly!

How long can you spend at Newsham Scream Park?
As well as four separate scare attractions, the courtyard will host live music and DJs, licensed bars, food vendors and an array of tarot card readers, mystics, spirit board guides and other curious characters to keep you entertained or terrified!
