March brought with it rain and lethargy – we have done far less walking this month, tending to focus on getting stuff done in the house instead. Dave has been working on re-grouting the main bathroom which has taken up a good couple of weekends – we tend to find that it’s either jobs or walks as both take up huge chunks of a day and there isn’t the time or motivation to do both!
We are reaching the end of March so ready to be able to spend time with our friends and family – the last year has been a slog. We’ve coped, we’ve enjoyed each other’s company but we need more than that now – the kids need time with the friends, as do Dave and I. We have both really suffered for not living close enough to our friends to even be able to go for a walk during this most recent lockdown so the lifting of the “stay home” rules and the introduction of the “two household” restrictions have the potential to make a really big difference for us.
