Siblings – December 2019

Last Updated on 25 January 2020 by Colette

I can hardly believe it’s time for the last siblings post of the year! I had a brief panic that I hadn’t taken any pictures but then remembered our trip to Stockeld Park at the start of the month . . .

This series of pictures really made us laugh when Dave took them!

To be honest we’ve had a really quiet December – we’re usually super busy with days out and festive adventures but this year has been more about getting stuff done around the house. We’ve swapped a couple of rooms around to give the kids a new space to use – I’ll write more about this later – but it has taken up the best part of two full weekends to do.

All three kids are ready for the end of term now – they’re absolutely shattered, and despite a couple of quiet weekends, they just need time to be. I’m looking forward to some proper family time together this Christmas – time where Dave is off work for most of time school holidays and we can really enjoy each other’s company! We’ve got a fairly steady Christmas holiday planned with the odd party and lots of time with our extended family. It’s just what we need!
