We have a crawler!

Last Updated on 10 October 2023 by Colette

For the last week or so Miss Amy has been getting up on those knees and we could see that crawling was imminent.

Last Friday she spent a whole day outside on the lawn at my friend’s house and made big progress – getting up onto her knees and reaching forward to try and grab a strawberry (food is such a great motivator right?!)

While I was away over the weekend Dave said she had managed to make a “step” forwards a couple of times.

But today.  Today she crawled.  For a dirty shoe and Chloe’s bottle of squash!

Laminate floor is amazing most of the time but when you’re learning to crawl its a right nightmare so I got the rug out for her that we usually have down in the winter and it seemed to make all the difference in the end.  I’ve since lectured Ben and Chloe about being super careful about what they leave on the floor now!
