7. Coral Island
Coral Island is a family-friendly amusement arcade on the seafront in Blackpool and is as cheap and cheerful or as expensive as you want to be – there’s no entry cost and you can easily pass the time while it’s raining, pouring 2ps into the 2p machines! Just be sure to set a clear budget before you head in or you might get sucked into some of the more expensive arcade games, slot machines or family-friendly rides.
Ticket Prices & Tips
* Free entry! You only pay for games and rides inside.
* Set a clear budget before going in – arcades can be deceptively fun (and spendy!)
* Keep an eye out for “Kids eat free deals“

Money-Saving & Booking Hacks
Book in Advance
Most attractions offer significant online discounts versus walk-up prices — booking ahead saves money and often guarantees your preferred timeslot.
Look for Combo Tickets
Many sites (especially Merlin attractions like SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds and The Gruffalo Clubhouse) offer multi-attraction or package deals that let you visit more for less.
Consider a Blackpool Pass
Seasonal passes let you visit multiple attractions at a reduced rate compared with buying individual tickets.
Check Age-Related Offers
Children, seniors, students and toddlers often have great discounts or free entry, so always check age categories before booking.
Hopefully this list of indoor activities in Blackpool will give you some ideas of places to spend the day even when the weather is less favourable.
