If you’ve had a proper dose of festival fomo during the summer months, and seeing social media awash with festival joy has you itching to get a festival booked in for summer 2026, you might want to have a look at these June 2026 festivals. (Not all of these festivals will be child friendly – click here for our recommendations for child friendly festivals.)
June is a really popular month for UK festivals – we’d all like to think that the weather is a little more trustworthy in June and a festival is a great way to kick off your summer! There are quite a few festivals which jump around between May and June depending on where the bank holidays fall but this year the spring bank holiday is firmly out of the way before June hits.
At the moment, you’re looking at June festivals announcing their 2026 dates and potentially offering early bird pricing to hook in those keen beans who loved the festival this year and want to go again – or in some cases just had massive festival fomo and want to get ahead of the game!

Tunes in the Dunes, Perranporth Beach, Cornwall – Friday 5th / Saturday 6th / Sunday 7th June 2026
Tunes in the Dunes is a three day live music festival held on Perranporth Beach, North Cornwall with a line up for 2026 includes Basement Jaxx, The Wombats, Ministry of Sound Classical and Professor Green.

Forbidden Forest Festival 2026, Belvoir Castle, Grantham – Thursday 4th / Friday 5th / Saturday 6th / Sunday 7th June 2026
Where some festivals were pressing pause in 2024, Forbidden Forest forged ahead with an increased capacity and this year it moves into June.
Forbidden Forest is a UK electronic music festival taking place at Belvoir Castle, Grantham. Created by dance music fans for dance music fans, Forbidden Forest festival promises to be “all killer no filler”.
Forgoing mainstream appeal in favour of technical and sonic prowess, Forbidden Forest’s lineup is comprised of some of the most respected and influential DJs and producers.
As spaces for dance music are continually threatened, Forbidden Forest festival takes the party into the woods, bringing the original rave vibe back to the UK.

We Invented the Weekend, Media City and Salford Quays – Saturday 6th / Sunday 7th June 2026
We Invented the Weekend is relatively new two-day event in Salford taking place in the middle of June offering a wide range of free activities to celebrate the differences in how people spend their free time, situated where the weekend was originally invented in Greater Manchester!
We Invented the Weekend will take place across both MediaCity and Salford Quays, including a main stage on MediaCity’s main piazza, satellite stages and a dedicated BBC stage across the festival site, activities on the water and a whole host of indoor spaces, including the newly announced Central Bay waterfront food and drink destination.
Hampton Court Palace Festival, Molesey, London – Wednesday 10th to Friday 19th June 2026
This summer, Hampton Court Palace are hosting ten nights of live music with a line up including David Gray and Sophie Ellis-Bextor and more yet to be announced.

Download Festival, Donington Park, Derby – Wednesday 10th / Thursday 11th / Friday 12th / Saturday 13th / Sunday 14th June 2026 | SOLD OUT
Download Festival returns for a mammoth rock event, based at the spiritual home of rock Donington Park.
Celebrating 23 years of Download Festival, headlines acts for 2026 include limpbizkit, Guns n’ Roses and Linkin Park plus over 90 more colossal names. This is a BIG festival!

Moovin Festival, Etherow Park, Stockport – Friday 12th / Saturday 13th / Sunday 14th June 2026
Moovin Festival is back for 2026 settling nicely into their new June date and promising to get you dancing to a music lover’s mix of bass, funk, soul, reggae, house and d&b until the cows come home.
Now in its ninth year what started as a small cow barn party with a few hundred people has organically grown to completely selling out last year and has now well and truly established itself as THE place to party on August bank holiday weekend.
Not far from Manchester, yet feeling like another world, Moovin takes place at the eco-friendly Whitebottom farm in the stunning countryside in Compstall. Through a magical canopy of trees, past lakes with waterfowl to greet you and with a breath-taking gorge welcoming you at the entrance, and that’s when the special weekend adventures really begin.
Tickets for Moovin 2026 are on sale now. Last year’s tickets were priced from £132.25 for a weekend ticket with a further £27.75 for camping. There is also a payment plan available to help you spread the cost.

Eden Festival, Raehills Meadows, Moffat – Thursday 11th / Friday 12th / Saturday 13th / Sunday 14th June 2026
Eden Festival is set in the stunning Raehills Meadows and hosts 10 different stages, kids arena, circus tent, drive in cinema, comedy, cabaret and workshops, as well as a feast of performers, artworks, games and much, much more…
Tickets for Eden Festival 2026 can be booked online now. Early bird tickets are priced at £135.50 for a weekend. There are various pricing options for day tickets and children.
Gottwood Festival, Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales – Thursday 11th / Friday 12th / Saturday 13th / Sunday 14th June 2026 | SOLD OUT
Pitched as “The mystical little party hidden in the middle of the woods. Gottwood is a critically acclaimed, independent, boutique, and intimate underground electronic music festival.” and celebrating 15 years of music in 2026 is Gottwood Festival.
Tickets for Gottwood Festival are available to book now priced at £200 for a full weekend ticket. Day tickets and group discounts are also available. Gottwood is strictly over 18s. Gottwood has been known to sell out so it pays to be organised!
Lido Festival, Victoria Park, London – Friday 12th / Saturday 13th June 2026
Lido festival will take place in the Tower Hamlets park’s 5000-capacity Lido Field for a second time in June 2026.
Designed with fans in mind, the festival is set to showcase globally renowned artists who not only perform but also shape the event’s curation. Alongside emerging talent, the festival will champion community engagement and creativity, reflecting the vibrant spirit of East London with a commitment to sustainability and giving back to the local community.
On Friday 12th June Lido Festival is bringing a headline set from CMAT and Sunday 13th June sees performances from Maribou State and Kelis.

Isle of Wight Festival, Seaclose Park, Newport – Thursday 18th / Friday 19th / Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st June 2026 | SOLD OUT
The Isle of Wight Festival claims to be the first major festival in the UK summer calendar every year however as you can see from this list there’s plenty of UK festivals in June this year (and actually quite a few in May too but perhaps we’re still classing that as spring)! That said, The Isle of Wight Festival has a heritage stretching back over 57 years and few of the festivals here can even come close to touching that!
The line up for Isle of Wight Festival 2026 includes headliners, Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure along with Teddy Swims, Wet Leg, The Kooks, Tom Grennan, Sex Pistols (Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock) featuring Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Feeder, Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems, Rick Astley, Shed Seven, David Gray, Five, KT Tunstall, Anastacia, Starsailor, Suzanne Vega and Luvcat.
The Isle of Wight itself enjoys a micro climate and whilst being just over 2 hours from London door to door, being across the water makes it feel like you have travelled so much further!
Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival 2026 are on sale now with an adult weekend ticket priced from £190 – there are reduced prices for younger festival goers and locals.
TRNSMT Festival 2026, Glasgow Green, Glasgow – Friday 19th / Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st June 2026
TRNSMT (pronounced “Transmit”) is a UK music festival held at Glasgow Green and replaced the popular Scottish festival T In The Park. Typically held in July, it’s making the jump to mid-June for 2026.
Along with some of the best pop, rock, hip hop and indie music acts across multiple stages, the festival also boasts plenty of street food stands and bars. Enjoy a weekend of top music talent and Scottish fun as TRNSMT goes from strength to strength.
You can book tickets for Pepsi Max presents TRNSMT now, currently priced from £229.50 for a three day weekender ticket. Payment plans are available. Its important to note that having previously been over 12s, TRNSMT is now strictly over 16s.
Parklife, Heaton Park, Manchester – Saturday 20th / Sunday 21st June 2026
Parklife Festival in Heaton Park, Manchester is a two day festival typically held in mid-June – details for this year’s event are currently very scant.
Parklife, previously brought to you by the same people behind the Warehouse Project but recently sold, has played host to a wide range of big names across a range of musical genres. The line up for 2026 includes Calvin Harris, Skepta, Sammy Virji and Zara Larsson.
It’s worth noting that this a non-camping festival and if you’re not local to Manchester, you’re going to need to sort some accommodation separately. Public transport is recommended (though having experienced this first hand – getting the tram to and from Manchester Victoria is a challenge so be prepared!)
General release tickets for Parklife 2026 are available now. There is usually a payment plan available if you want to spread the cost of your tickets!
TOTFest Surrey, Kempton Park Racecourse – Saturday 20th June 2026
The ultimate pre-school family festival returns with another tour across the UK for summer 2026 including TOTFest Surrey at Kempton Park Racecourse on Saturday 20th June 2026.
Aimed at children aged 1 to 5, the littlest guests are firmly front and centre, TOTFest is an entirely immersive event focused on engaging children’s imaginations, giving families an opportunity to spend precious time together whilst trying out new things and most importantly, having fun!
Working with some of the nation’s leading preschool specialists, you can expect over 50 shows, sessions and activities all included in your entry ticket. The festival promises to be free roam, allowing your little ones to join in for as long or as little as they like, the agenda is jam packed; giant painting canvasses, a baby rave, bubbleologists, 3 themed stages, crazy golf, story time sessions, a tots race track, craft zones, a miniature fairground, bounceland, live shows and more!
Tickets for TOTFest Surrey are available to book online now priced at £25 for adults and from £25 for children. Parking should also be pre-booked at a cost of £8 per car.
Glastonbury Festival, Worthy Farm, Glastonbury – NO EVENT 2026
There will be no Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm for summer 2026 – this is a planned fallow year. (This does not mean Glastonbury is cancelled, it is common practice for them to take a break every few years to allow the land to recover).
Glastonbury Festival is widely regarded as a major event in British culture and is currently “the largest outdoor music festival in the United Kingdom” with an audience capacity of 210,000.
Glastonbury Festival offers up a whirlwind experience of performing arts with a bit of anything and everything mixed in for good measure. Personally I’ve always found the idea of Glastonbury a little overwhelming (not least just the stress of trying to get tickets for Glastonbury in the first place never mind the actual experience of having been there) however those who have been tell me I’m wrong, and that I absolutely should experience Glastonbury at least once!
Getting tickets for Glastonbury Festival is an effort and you must first register to be able to buy tickets when they go on sale. Tickets for the 2025 festival were priced at £355 per person and went on sale on Sunday 17th November – typically they sell out within about an hour. Alternatively, you might want to consider volunteering at Glastonbury, but you need to plan ahead for that as places are obviously in high demand!
Bristol Sounds, Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol – Tuesday 23rd to Saturday 27th June 2026
Bristol Sounds returns to the city’s beautiful harbourside for five days of diverse, world class music. The open-air summer concert series takes place across eight nights towards the end of June and features an array of spectacular headline acts.

Below you’ll find a list of festivals typically or previously held in June but which, for a variety of reasons, are not happening in June this year – just in case you’re looking for information on a festival you would usually attend!
- AlderFest, Alderford, Whitchurch | Moved to July
- Barn on the Farm Festival, Over Farm, Gloucester | Last held in 2023 – 2024 and 2025 were announced as gap years but there has been no further updates.
- Beyond Festival, Abbey Park, Leicester – Launched in 2022 but was cancelled in 2023 and has not returned.
- Black Deer Festival, Eridge Park, Kent | Last held in 2024. The event had planned to return in 2026 but no further updates have been announced.
- Daylesford Organic Summer Festival, Cotswolds – Last event in June 2023
- Detonate Festival, Colwick Country Park, Nottingham – Detonate Festival was cancelled in 2023 and has not returned since.
- Godiva Festival, Coventry – Moved to July for 2025
- The Great Estate Festival, Scorrier Estate, Cornwall – Falls in May for 2026
- Kite Festival, Kirtlington Park, Oxford – No event for 2025 (did not return after 2023 event)
- Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Glynde Place, East Sussex | Moved to July for 2026
- Lytham Festival, Lytham Green, Lytham St Annes | Moved to July
- Nocturne Live Festival, Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire | After ten years of events, Nocturne Live will not be returning to the Palace in 2026.
- Mighty Hoopla, Brockwell Park, Norwood Road, London – Moved to May for 2026
- One World Festival, Stanmer Park, Brighton – No updates for the last couple of years
- Para Fest, Caerwys, Flintshire – Last held in June 2024 with no further updates.
- Portsmouth Chilli & Gin Festival – Portsmouth Chilli & Gin Festival appears to have quietly disappeared after it’s event in 2025 with no grand announcements, just a non-existent website and a defunct facebook page.
- Red Rooster, Euston Hall, Suffolk | Falls in May for 2026
- Shyne Fest, Guildford, Surrey | Falls in May for 2026
- Sign of the Times Festival, Hertfordshire | 2025 event was cancelled due to the event entering liquidation. A sign of the times indeed.
- Sounds of the City, Castlefield Bowl, Manchester | Moved to July for 2026. For details on this year’s event check out our July festivals list.
- Stone Cold Sober Festival, Beaworthy | No event since 2023
- Strawberries & Creem Festival, Childerly Orchard, Cambridge | No event since 2022
- The Cambridge Club Festival, Childerley Orchard | Last held in June 2024 with plans to take a breather in 2025 but no further details have been announced.
- TOTFest Suffolk, Newmarket Racecourse | Last held in 2025. There are other TOTFest events happening in 2026 just not the Suffolk one.
- Wavelength Spring Classic, Woolacome Bay, Devon|- 2024 event was cancelled and there have been no further updates
- Wychwood Festival, Cheltenham Racecourse | Moved to May for 2026
Oceanfest, Croyde Bay, North Devon | No event for 2026
Oceanfest have announced that 2026 will be a fallow year. The information below relates to last year’s event.
Oceanfest is a proudly independent music, surf and lifestyle festival with this year’s line up featuring James (the rest of the line up has yet to be announced!)
Book tickets for Oceanfest priced from £93.75 for an Tier 1 adult weekend ticket and £82.75 for a tier one age 6 – 18 weekend ticket.
